🧾 General Terms and Conditions of Sale (GTCS)

These General Terms and Conditions of Sale govern sales made on the Eastsideshoes website, published by Unipley, hereinafter referred to as “the Seller”, and any person making a purchase via the site, hereinafter referred to as “the Customer”.

By validating their order on the site, the Customer declares that they have read, understood, and accepted these Terms and Conditions of Sale without reservation.

🛍️ 1. Purpose

These Terms and Conditions of Sale define the rights and obligations of the parties in connection with the online sale of products offered by the Seller.
They apply to all sales concluded via the site https://eastsideshoes.com.

EastSideShoes acts as an independent reseller of the products offered for sale, unless explicitly stated otherwise on the site.

💳 3. Products and prices

The products offered for sale are described and presented with the greatest possible accuracy.
Any error or omission shall not render the Seller liable.

Prices are indicated in euros (€), including all taxes (VAT included), excluding shipping costs.
The Seller reserves the right to change its prices at any time, but the products will be invoiced based on the prices in effect when the order is validated.

🧾 4. Order

Any order placed on the site constitutes full and unreserved acceptance of these Terms and Conditions of Sale.

The Customer must verify the accuracy of the information provided (address, e-mail, etc.) before validating the order.
The Seller shall not be held liable for an input error resulting in a delay or inability to deliver.

The Seller reserves the right to cancel any order in the event of suspected fraud, a payment incident, or a previous dispute with the Customer.

💰 5. Payment

Payment is made online via the secure solutions offered on the store (Shopify Payments, etc.).
The amount is debited immediately after the order is validated.

The Seller does not store any banking data.

🚚 6. Shipping and delivery

Delivery times are specified in our Shipping Policy 

The products are delivered to the address indicated by the Customer when placing the order.
Delivery times are indicative and may vary depending on carriers, periods of high activity or customs.

The Seller shall not be held liable for delays beyond its control.

🔁 7. Returns, exchanges and refunds

The return and refund conditions are specified in our Return Policy 

In summary:

  • The Customer has 14 days from receipt to request a return;

  • The return costs shall be borne by the Customer;

  • No returns are accepted for  personalized products;

  • No restocking fee is charged.

⚖️ 8. Right of withdrawal

In accordance with European legislation (Articles L221-18 et seq. of the French Consumer Code), the Customer has a 14-day period to exercise their right of withdrawal without having to provide a reason.

This right does not apply to:

  • Personalized products,

  • Perishable products,

  • Promotional or final-sale items.

🔒 9. Personal data

The personal data collected is necessary for managing orders and customer relations.
They are processed in accordance with our Privacy Policy 

The Customer has the right to access, rectify and delete their personal data by submitting a request to contact@eastsideshoes.com.

⚠️ 10. Liability

The Seller shall not be held liable for:

  • Delivery delays beyond its control;

  • Indirect or non-material damages;

  • Improper or non-compliant use of the products.

Product photographs are not contractual and may show slight differences.

💼 11. Force majeure

The Seller shall not be held liable for any delay or failure to perform its obligations in the event of force majeure (natural disaster, war, strike, logistics crisis, customs blockage, etc.).

⚖️ 12. Applicable law and competent jurisdiction

These General Terms and Conditions of Sale are governed by French law.
In the event of a dispute, the French courts shall have sole jurisdiction, unless otherwise provided by law.
